Application Authorization Policy
This policy explains the permissions requested while completing a rental application through Rentari.ai LLC.
Your rental application
Provide accurate information and review your answers before submitting. When you submit, Rentari.ai shares your application with the property owner or manager for the rental you selected. Starting or saving a draft does not submit your application. An application does not guarantee approval or create a lease.
Separate screening authorization
Continuing through the application or opting into SMS does not authorize a screening report. Before screening is requested, the application asks you to read the FCRA Disclosure and Summary of Rights, separately authorize screening, and provide your electronic signature. The authorization identifies Rentari.ai, the property owner or manager, and Rent Butter, Inc. Reports may include credit history, criminal history and eviction history, depending on the requested checks.
Fees and final submission
The application shows any application and screening fees before final submission or checkout. Review the amounts and who pays before continuing. If screening is deferred, it will be requested separately if needed.
Optional SMS updates
SMS consent is optional and is never required to apply. If you opt in, Rentari.ai may send messages about your account, applications, leases, messages, payments and maintenance updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
