Confirm the work before the money step

Keep the accepted scope, authorized changes, completion evidence and invoice together. A resolved maintenance request does not by itself pay a contractor or prove that the repair passed a required inspection. Review disputed work and the amount owed through the appropriate process.

Check the actual payment route

Verify payee details through a trusted contact and check the available method, authorization, fees and status. A submitted instruction and a settled payment are different events; do not rely on a universal same-day or minutes-to-payment promise. Reconcile the payment with the invoice and retain the supporting records for qualified tax review. Follow the repair and vendor handoff guide; Rentari's software does not replace the owner's approval or automatically establish a tax filing result.
