From settings to conversation
Open AI connections in your dashboard settings. Tell us how you plan to use the connection.
After approval, create a named key. Start with read-only access and save the key when it is shown.
Add the server URL and key to a compatible assistant, then ask a question about your portfolio.
Requires a client with Streamable HTTP and Bearer-key support. OAuth-only connectors are not supported yet.
Model Context Protocol is a standard that lets AI assistants use external tools and data. Rentari MCP gives a compatible assistant access to your rental records through a connection you control.
Use a client that supports remote MCP over Streamable HTTP and a custom Authorization header, such as VS Code. Setup instructions are included in dashboard settings. OAuth-only connectors are not supported yet; support and plan requirements vary by provider.
Read-only keys cannot change records. You can explicitly grant permission to update supported records and, separately, lease amounts. Write tools support previews; configure your assistant to ask for your approval before saving changes.
The portfolio owner can request access and manage keys. Each connection is scoped to that owner’s portfolio. Developer access requires approval before keys can be created.
Your chosen assistant receives the records it requests, which can include tenant contact details and financial information. Review your AI provider’s privacy terms before connecting. Rentari stores a hash of your key, and you can disable or permanently revoke the key in settings.
