Verification is optional when publishing a listing. Properties that complete the verification process display a Verified badge; other published properties can still appear in search.
Renters can choose “Only properties with a Verified badge” in the listing filters. Review the listing details and confirm availability before applying.
The verification process can include a landlord identity check and a review of property records or ownership documents. Owners and authorized managers may have different documentation needs.
A badge does not describe the property's physical condition or guarantee a tenancy. Ask the landlord about the home and its terms.
