The short answer
An AI intake service may collect and summarize a maintenance report when that channel is actually configured. It should not be assumed to diagnose hazards, dispatch a vendor or guarantee an emergency response.

Verify the service boundary
Confirm supported channels, languages, operating hours, escalation contacts and outage procedures. Tell residents the actual emergency route; do not make their access to urgent help depend solely on a chatbot or call transcript.
Review the resulting work item
Check address, unit, callback details, reported symptoms and attachments. Verify assignment and vendor acceptance separately. A received call or sent message does not establish that anyone is on the way.
Example: ambiguous urgency
A caller mentions water near electrical equipment. Escalate through the established emergency process rather than asking AI to infer that the issue is routine. Preserve the report and record the human follow-up.
