Start with the rental

Prepare the details. Review the actual agreement.

Confirm the full address, unit, term, people, rent and deposit. Save responsibilities and proposed provisions in the agreement sections, then read the generated draft. Check the disclosures and supporting files it actually contains against the current requirements for this rental. Use the lease preparation walkthrough for the available steps.

Review suggested wording before accepting it.

Use the available lease-audit workflow to organize questions about an agreement. Compare findings with the complete clause, current source and effective version; resolve missing information or conflicting terms before preparing signatures. An AI review is not a legal certification. Get qualified local help for uncertain obligations.

Follow signing through to completion.

Preview the generated agreement, selected signers, their emails and your signing order. Sending for signature is included on paid plans; review the current plan and any payment or error prompt. After the separate send action, check Docs & E-Sign for the request and each signer status. Waiting on signers differs from Completed. Follow the signature preparation instructions.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Are the leases built for my state's rules?
Rentari uses the rental location and saved answers to prepare a draft. Review the actual city, property, tenancy, required disclosures and included files. A state label or AI result does not certify complete local coverage or legal compliance.
Can I customize a clause before I send it?
Use the agreement sections and Additional provisions to prepare the intended terms. Save and preview the complete draft and attachments. Review any AI findings against the actual clause and current source; a suggestion does not establish that a term is permitted.
What should I check before electronic signing?
Confirm the intended document, signers, contact details, electronic access and any applicable consent requirements. Review the request and each signer status in Docs & E-Sign. Electronic format alone does not validate the terms or establish completed signing.
How do I change an agreement after signing?
Preserve the signed agreement. Identify the proposed change, affected people, effective date and applicable requirements. Use the appropriate reviewed addendum, renewal or other process and check required notices, consent and signatures. An edited template does not itself amend the tenancy.
Where are signed leases stored?
Use Docs & E-Sign to find the correct request and available final document. Review completion and keep the agreement, attachments and available execution evidence accessible. Check current account access and export options before a plan or role change.

Prepare the next lease step.

For an existing tenancy, review amendments, renewals, household or ownership changes separately. Preserve the signed agreement and confirm the required process before changing terms. Start with the lease preparation guide and addendum review.
