Use this pre-send checklist after selecting appropriately reviewed documents. It is an administrative check, not a substitute for legal review.

Verify the shared facts

Confirm the full property address and unit, parties' legal names, term dates, rent, other charges, due dates, included spaces, and utility assignments. Compare those facts across every page and against the offer actually made.

Replace placeholders and remove draft notes. Do not leave an unexplained blank that could later be filled differently.

Verify the document set

List each attachment and confirm that references point to a document actually included. Check property-specific and jurisdiction-specific disclosures, delivery timing, and signature requirements.

For properties potentially covered by lead rules, consult EPA's current disclosure guidance before signature. Do not assume a generic lease template supplies the necessary records.

Verify the delivery plan

Confirm recipients, signing roles, electronic-consent requirements, and a workable alternative for someone unable to use the chosen technology. Decide who monitors incomplete signatures and corrects recipient errors.

Retain the final version identifier and distribution record. When the packet returns, compare it with the intended version before treating it as complete. A successful email delivery is not proof that all required signatures and attachments are present.

Keep your completed record

Save the worksheet with the supporting records and restrict access to people who need it. This blank organizer does not calculate a legal, tax, insurance, or eligibility decision.
