Link, add or disconnect an accounting bank account

Choose bank imports or a manual accounting account and keep bookkeeping separate from rent-payment routing.

Open Manage accounts

Open Accounting > Transactions and use Manage accounts. Inspect existing linked and manual accounts before adding another.

Rentari Manage accounts screen.
The available controls before changes are submitted.

Choose the import method

Use Add account or the import setup offered to connect a supported bank or create a manual account for statement uploads. Complete the secure provider flow and review the accounts selected.

Check the account status

Return to Manage accounts and inspect the connection. Use the offered refresh or reconnect action for a problem. Review Import feed to confirm what transactions are actually available.

Disconnect deliberately

Use Unlink on the intended linked account when appropriate and read the confirmation. Unlinking keeps imported rows and booked records; review duplicate or stale transactions separately.

Check the result

  • The accounting account and connection status are clear, with rent payout settings left for their own workflow.

FAQs

Does linking this bank change where rent deposits go?

No. Choose rent-payment destinations in Settings > Rent payments. A bookkeeping connection imports activity; it is not a payout-routing instruction.

Why is an account connected but its transactions missing?

Check the supported account, date range, connection status and Import feed filters. Use the offered refresh or statement upload and avoid importing the same period twice.
