Set up accounting portfolio groups

Use Rentari subportfolios for grouping and understand the limit of that separation.

Before you start

  • Decide the first date to include in your books and which properties belong together.

Review the intended grouping

Identify the properties and bookkeeping scope you want to report together. A grouping is different from an independently isolated account or subscription.

Add a subportfolio

Open Settings > Accounting and the subportfolio controls. Enable grouping, enter the offered name and entity type, and add the subportfolio.

Assign and inspect

Assign the intended properties to the non-default group and save. Reopen the assignments and review the report filter separately to confirm the grouping you actually use.

Check the result

  • The intended properties show their saved subportfolio assignment and separately checked report filter.

FAQs

Does this create an independently isolated accounting portfolio?

No. Rentari subportfolios group records within the existing authorized portfolio. They do not provide TurboTenant’s separate REI Hub portfolio subscription or isolated data account.

Is a subportfolio my legal entity or bank destination?

Review legal entities and collection destinations separately. A reporting group does not establish either one.
