Add bank destinations and choose where a charge is paid

Connect an eligible destination for an entity and select it for the appropriate charges.

Review the legal entity and distinguish rent operating funds from security deposits. Use an account you are authorized to connect.

Add the destination

Open Payment destinations. Under Add a destination choose Legal entity, enter Destination name and select Rent and charges or Security deposits.

Rent payment settings with a seeded demo collection account.
Review your account settings for rent payments.

Connect and check readiness

Choose Save and connect bank and finish the offered provider flow. Return and use Refresh status. Inspect the recorded entity, purpose and bank information.

Choose routing on the charge

When creating or editing an eligible charge, expand Payment destination and select a ready destination for the lease’s entity and purpose.

Review changes carefully

Check the saved charge and destination. Different destinations are paid separately. Disabling a destination and changing an existing charge require their own confirmed results.

ACH payout timing and speed

Standard ACH payouts are estimated at 7-9 business days. Expedited payouts are estimated at 4-6 business days and require a paid plan plus your acknowledgment.

These are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates. New-account checks, bank clearing, weekends, holidays, verification and payment reviews can extend the timeline. Selecting expedited does not bypass those checks or remove the risk of a later bank reversal.

  1. Open Payments, then Payment settings.
  2. Under ACH payout speed, choose Change payout speed.
  3. Choose Standard or Expedited. For Expedited, read the warning and select the acknowledgment checkbox.
  4. Choose Save and check the saved speed on Payment settings.

Check the result

  • The ready destination and saved charge show the intended routing.

FAQs

Is this the same as linking an accounting bank feed?

No. An accounting feed imports transactions. A payment destination routes eligible collections; verify both separately.

Why is a destination absent from the charge form?

Check readiness, legal entity, purpose and lease eligibility. An inactive or mismatched destination cannot be made eligible by renaming it.
