Before you start

Find a property
Open Properties. Use Search properties to find an address or unit, and use All types to narrow the property type.
Read the property and unit cards
Check the address, rent, lease and marketing state. For a property with several units, review the individual unit rows before opening the card.
Open the property workspace
Select the card to open its Overview, then choose the property area you need, such as Marketing or Settings. Use Add new property to create another rental.
Update recorded property details
Open Settings for the selected property. In Rental Settings, update the address or bedroom count, then choose Save changes. Reopen Settings and reload to confirm the new values remain saved.
Read portfolio totals with their labels
When shown, review Portfolio distribution, Rent this month, Occupancy rate and Expiring leases. Check the unit counts, date period and any billing coverage notes.
Check the result
- Search narrows the property cards; opening a property reveals its units and available setup actions.
FAQs
Why can I not find a property I just added?
Clear the property search, confirm the active portfolio and check the sample-data banner. If the original save showed an error, the property may not have been created.
Why does one property have several rental entries?
A building can contain separate units or room rentals. Open the property and check the unit label before editing a listing or lease.
How do I correct a property address or bedroom count?
Open the property, choose Settings, and edit the fields in Rental Settings. Select Save changes, then reopen or reload Settings to verify the values were saved. If saving shows an error, keep the original record and resolve the error before continuing.
