Decide who needs a separate application

Identify each applicant and co-applicant before inviting a household to apply.

Identify the household

Review who will apply as a tenant and who will be a co-applicant or guarantor. Check the requirements you use for this rental before sending invitations.

Invite each person correctly

Use Applicants > Invite renter to apply for each identified applicant with their own contact email. Review the rental and role instead of sharing one person’s private application link.

Review individual completion

Open each person’s record in the application group. Check application information, documents and separately required screening for that person.

Check the result

  • Each identified applicant has their own record and separately checked completion state.

FAQs

Does one roommate’s application complete the group?

No. A group view organizes related applicants; it does not establish that every person submitted their own information.

Does a guarantor automatically become a lease tenant?

Check the person’s role and the final lease participants. Application and lease roles must be reviewed separately.
