Create recurring charges and handle weekly rent

Use the charge frequencies actually offered and review every generated charge before recording payment.

Before you start

  • Review the lease, tenant participants, rent amount and charge category. Check for an existing schedule to avoid duplicates.

Choose the frequency

Open Create charge and choose the lease, category and amount. The current form offers Monthly and One-time; some categories restrict recurring charges.

Review the schedule

For Monthly, set the due day and starting month and review the schedule shown. For One-time, set the specific due date and description.

Handle another interval

There is no weekly frequency in this form. For a permitted weekly arrangement, review dated one-time charges with the correct amounts and periods, or ask support about your requirements.

Check changes separately

Open the saved schedule and generated charges before editing or stopping recurrence. Stopping future charges does not erase a payment already recorded.

Check the result

  • The saved frequency and dates match the intended charge, without an assumed weekly scheduler.

FAQs

Can I select Weekly like in TurboTenant?

The current Rentari charge form offers Monthly and One-time. This guide does not provide an automatic weekly scheduler.

Why is Monthly unavailable for a category?

Follow the category restriction displayed on the form. A deposit or other one-time category must not be turned into recurring rent simply to enable the control.
