Review how past-due charges are paid

Check the lease’s payment policy and the renter’s actual charge allocation.

Open payment policies

Select the lease and review its payment settings, including the offered past-due priority and partial-payment controls.

Rentari leases workspace with sample lease rows.
Find a lease before opening its details.

Save an offered policy

Read the policy’s scope and choose the available setting. Save and reopen the lease to confirm the result rather than assuming a portfolio preference affects every charge.

Inspect the renter’s payment

Review outstanding charges and their payment allocations. A policy controls an eligible payment flow; it does not create a payment or rewrite earlier recorded transactions.

Check the result

  • The lease displays the saved payment policy, and actual charge allocations can be checked separately.

FAQs

Can a tenant choose a different charge?

Review the controls and restrictions actually shown to that renter under the lease’s saved policy.

Does the policy remove old balances?

No. Reconcile past-due charges and payments separately; changing a preference is not a credit or payment.
