Request a copy of your screening report

Find the report request and ask for access or a consumer copy through the appropriate provider.

Find the request

Open the rental application or screening invitation and check whether the report is complete. Read the provider named in the request or resulting notice.

Use the offered access

Open a report or copy action when it is provided. If no report is available to you, contact the leasing team or Rentari support with the request reference and ask for the provider’s consumer-file access instructions.

Dispute information through the right channel

Use the reporting provider’s correction and dispute instructions for inaccurate report data. Correcting an application answer does not amend a provider’s report.

Check the result

  • You have the correct access or copy-request path and know who handles report disputes.

FAQs

Can another renter request my report?

Screening reports contain personal information. Use your own verified identity and the provider’s authorized access process.

Does asking for a copy reverse a rental decision?

A copy request and a rental decision are separate. Ask the leasing team about the decision notice, and the provider about the underlying consumer information.
