Resolve rental emails after moving out

Check whether the message concerns an old lease, outstanding charge or a notification preference.

Identify the message

Read which rental, charge or task the message references. Compare it with your lease and payment history.

Renter account settings with editable contact fields and a fictional example phone number.
The editable contact form; changes have not been saved.

Ask the former manager

Ask the manager to review the lease end date, tenant status and any remaining charge. If you paid outside Rentari, provide the payment date and reference so they can check the record.

Review preferences

Check the notification controls in your account. Changing a preference does not remove an outstanding charge or end the recorded lease; use support for a message linked to the wrong account.

Check the result

  • The old tenancy and message source are identified, with the manager reviewing the relevant record.

FAQs

Does unsubscribing erase rent owed?

No. A notification preference and the rental ledger are separate. Ask the manager to correct the charge if it is wrong.

Do I need to delete my account?

First resolve the lease or message issue. Account deletion is a separate privacy request and does not substitute for a move-out or charge correction.
