Acceptable listing photo guidelines

Choose clear rental photos in a supported format before uploading.

File types and size

Use JPG or JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC or HEIF, up to 25 MB per file. GIF and SVG are not supported listing-photo formats.

  1. Open Properties, select the rental and unit, then open Photos in listing setup.
  2. Click or drag to upload one or more images; selecting files starts the upload.
  3. Wait for the uploaded count and check Your photos before continuing.

Make each photo useful

  1. Include at least one image to continue; aim for 5–7 different views.
  2. Use landscape images at least 900 × 600 pixels when possible; this is a recommendation, not an upload requirement.
  3. Photograph the entrance, main rooms and useful outdoor spaces in a natural walking order.
  4. Use daylight, straighten the camera and check that room details are sharp.

Keep the listing accurate

Use current photos of the rental you are advertising and images you have permission to publish. Keep people, personal documents, contact details, website addresses and unrelated graphics out of the frame. Avoid screenshots, watermarks, misleading edits and inappropriate or discriminatory content. These are publishing guidelines, not a promise of automatic content screening.

Choose the cover and order

  1. Choose Make cover on the image that best introduces the rental.
  2. Drag photos into order, or focus a photo and use the arrow keys.
  3. Wait for the save result and check the listing preview.

Make a listing easier to evaluate

Use a clear cover photo of the actual rental, then show the main rooms and relevant amenities. Keep rent, availability, unit number and contact details consistent with the photos and description.

Describe distinctive features using specific facts, such as included appliances or parking arrangements. Review the public preview on a phone as well as a larger screen, and remove outdated or duplicate images. Better presentation does not guarantee inquiries or placement on an outside website.

Check the result

  • The uploaded photos appear in Your photos; the chosen cover appears in Listing preview.

FAQs

Why did only some photos upload?

Check the error and the saved gallery, then retry only the missing files. Export oversized or unsupported images as smaller JPG or PNG copies; changing the filename extension does not convert a file.

Does uploading publish my listing?

No. Uploading saves the property photos. Continue through listing setup and review the publication controls separately.

Will changing photos guarantee more leads?

No. Photos help prospects assess the rental, but demand, price, location, availability and publication status also affect inquiries.
