Understand rent reporting and credit-building resources
Keep Rentari payment records separate from a credit-bureau reporting service.

Before you start
- Check the service you are considering, its enrollment terms and who actually reports the payment.
Review your payment record
Use the renter’s Payment history or landlord payment records to confirm the amount, date and payment status. A payment receipt is not a credit-bureau entry.
Review a reporting resource
Use the credit-building or rent-reporting resources currently shown in Toolbox or partner pages. Read the provider’s eligibility, fees, consent and reporting terms before enrolling.
Follow up with the reporting provider
Ask the enrolled provider about a missing credit entry or correction. Ask the landlord about a missing rental payment record and Rentari support about a portal problem.
Check the result
- You know which record confirms payment and which provider handles any credit reporting.
FAQs
Does paying through Rentari automatically report my rent?
No. Rentari rent reporting is currently unavailable, and Rentari does not send rent payments to credit bureaus. A Rentari payment receipt is separate from an outside provider's reporting agreement and enrollment.
Can Rentari guarantee a higher credit score?
No. Reporting availability and credit-score effects depend on the provider, bureau and individual file. A receipt or rental record summary is not a promised score increase.
