Acceptable video tour guidelines
Prepare a clear walkthrough that renters can open without signing in.
On this page
Prepare a shareable tour of the correct property and unit.
Supported tour links
Photos accepts YouTube, public Vimeo and Matterport tour links. Host a recorded video with YouTube or Vimeo, or use your Matterport tour share link. Rentari does not accept direct video-file uploads in this field.
Record a useful walkthrough
- Film the rental you are advertising, starting at the entrance and following the room layout.
- Move slowly with steady framing and enough light to show each room.
- Include useful details such as storage, appliances and outdoor areas.
- Keep the focus on the property; avoid filming people, private documents or security codes.
Keep the tour appropriate
Use footage you own or have permission to share. Avoid misleading, unrelated, inappropriate or discriminatory material, and follow the hosting provider’s content rules.
Check renter access
A recognized URL does not confirm playback, viewing permissions or publication.
- Open the share link while signed out of the video provider.
- Remove password or account restrictions and enable embedding where the provider offers that setting.
- Save the link in Photos, then check the tour on the published Rentari listing.
Check the result
- You have a supported link and have checked that renters can view the tour.
FAQs
Can I upload an MP4 here?
No. Upload the recording to YouTube or Vimeo first and paste its share link, or use a Matterport tour URL.
Why is my Vimeo link rejected?
Use a public Vimeo video link. Password-protected and unlisted links that require a privacy hash are not supported by this field. Check your provider settings and use a publicly accessible link.
