Find rent that is missing from a renter’s portal

Check the lease, renter link and created charge before asking the renter to pay.

Have the intended lease, unit, rent period and tenant email. Confirm whether a charge was actually created.

Check the charge

Landlords should open Payments > Charges and clear filters before searching by rental and period. A saved recurring schedule or draft lease is not proof that a specific charge is visible.

Check the renter link

Choose the correct tenant and rental.

Resolve the mismatch

Check payment access and the charge status. If the charge exists but remains unavailable to the correct renter, contact support with the lease and charge references instead of creating another charge for the same rent.

Check the result

  • You know whether the issue is a missing charge, wrong lease, wrong account or payment-access restriction.

FAQs

Can a renter create the missing rent charge?

Ask the landlord or manager to review the lease and charges. Do not make a separate payment to an unknown account to bypass a missing portal charge.

Is an archived lease visible like an active tenancy?

Lease status can affect the current view. Review past records and the intended active rental separately.
