Check commercial and other listing eligibility
Check whether the rental and its selected publication destinations support the property you want to advertise.
On this page
Have the property’s actual use, availability and address. Creating a property record does not guarantee publication on every listing site.
Use the correct property type
Select the type that describes the real rental, including commercial space when appropriate. Do not label a commercial property as residential to bypass publication restrictions.
Review publication requirements
Open the rental’s marketing view and read its blockers and available destinations. Check the rent, availability, photos and property details before publishing.
Keep availability accurate
If the property is also for sale, advertise it only with accurate rental availability and permission to lease it. Update or stop marketing when that availability changes.

FAQs
Will a commercial rental appear on every residential site?
Do not assume that. External listing sites have their own property-type and market restrictions. Inspect the destination status shown for this rental.
Can I market a rental that is also for sale?
Keep the listing truthful and confirm the rental is actually available. The help center does not override ownership, broker agreements or a destination’s eligibility rules.
