Search guides for landlords and renters.

Add your first property

Choose a property type, add the full address, and set up its units or rooms.

Have the complete street address, city, state and ZIP ready. Decide whether the property contains separate units, room rentals or one rental.

Add units when needed

Find a property you already added

Open Properties and choose the full address and unit. Check for an existing property before creating another record. From its overview you can review rental details, Marketing and the associated lease.

Add or edit a rental on a phone

Open Properties in your landlord account on your phone. Follow Add property for a new address, or open an existing rental and its listing edit action. Save the actual rental details and wait for media uploads before leaving the page.

Review marketing separately: check the price, availability, photos and any phone or ownership verification requested. Use the offered publish action, then check the saved marketing state and public link.

Check the result

  • After a successful Add property submission, the property and its rentals are available for the next setup steps. Publishing a vacancy and creating a lease remain separate tasks.

FAQs

Why will Continue not move past the property type?

Select a property type and answer Will you have room rentals? If you selected Other Types, also choose its subtype and describe Something else when requested.

What if the address lookup fills in incorrect details?

Check and correct the editable address and rental details before saving. Use the full address and unit labels you actually manage; a lookup result is not confirmation of the facts.

How do I add rooms to an existing property?

Open the property overview and select New room. Choose the unit or Whole home, name each room, and enter its target rent and deposit. Duplicate room copies the target amounts. Select I'm done to save. Open a room to manage its listing, leases, payments and maintenance. Room Settings changes its name and target amounts without changing lease terms.
