Pay early or make a partial rent payment

Review which charges are payable and whether your lease permits a smaller payment.

Check your balance and any Processing payment before starting. Use an eligible verified payment method.

Review Money

Open Money and inspect the balance breakdown, including Upcoming, Due soon and On hold. Only the charges offered for payment can be paid through the current flow.

Empty renter payment methods section with an Add payment method button.
The sample account has no saved bank accounts or cards.

Choose the available amount

Open the payment flow and read its partial-payment message. Enter a smaller amount only when the lease permits it. A required full balance cannot be overridden by saving a different method.

Add payment method dialog offering bank account or card and explaining that saving does not pay rent.
  1. Choose bank account
  2. Choose card
Saving a method does not make a payment.

Review allocation and destination

Check which charges and destination the payment covers. Older-charge rules can determine allocation. Separate destinations require separate payments.

Confirm once and follow status

Review the amount and fees before confirming. Check the result and Processing or Payment history before trying again.

Check the result

  • The intended amount has a recorded payment status, and any remaining balance is visible.

FAQs

Can roommates each pay part?

Only when the lease permits partial payments and the requested amount is eligible. Check the actual payment form and coordinate the remaining balance.

How far ahead can I pay?

Use the eligibility shown for your charges. Rentari does not promise the same early-payment window as another platform; contact the landlord if an upcoming charge is unavailable.
