Add a video tour to a listing
Save a supported walkthrough link and check that renters can open it.
On this page
Save a walkthrough
- Record a walkthrough and upload it to YouTube or Vimeo, or copy a Matterport tour share link.
- In Rentari, open Properties, choose the rental and unit, then open the Photos step in listing setup.
- Under Video tour, paste a YouTube, public Vimeo or Matterport link.
- Choose Continue or Save & finish later and resolve any link or save error.
- Reopen Photos to check the saved link, then verify renter access from your published listing.
Use the Vimeo or Matterport helper
Checking or opening a link alone does not save it. Use a tour that permits public embedding; direct video-file uploads are not supported in the Photos step.
- Choose Vimeo or Matterport tour, select the provider and paste a public HTTPS tour link.
- Choose Check link, then Open tour to check that the tour is accessible.
- Choose Save tour and wait for the saved confirmation. This replaces the previous tour on the rental.
Change or remove a tour
- Replace the link to change the tour, or clear the field to remove it.
- Choose Save & finish later and reopen Photos to confirm the saved result.
On your phone
In your mobile browser, open the same rental and Photos step, then paste and save the tour link. A saved link does not publish a draft listing or update a listing you posted manually on another website.
Check the result
- After a confirmed save, the rental has the saved tour link. Check the published listing and open the tour to verify access.
FAQs
Check link worked. Why did the tour not change?
Check link only recognizes the link format and enables a preview. Use Save tour in the helper, or the Photos save action for the main field, and read the returned result.
Why can I open the video but renters cannot?
The provider may restrict viewing or embedding. Check the link while signed out of the provider and review its sharing settings. Direct video-file uploads are not offered in this Photos step.
What if the tour link changed before my save finished?
Reload the correct rental and unit and review its current saved tour before trying again. Another change may have made your earlier version stale. Confirm whether you still intend to replace or remove that link, then use the offered save action and read its result. Do not assume a failed save changed the listing or repeatedly overwrite a link you have not reviewed.
