Request screening without a rental application

Use the report-only screening flow when you already have application information elsewhere.

Open Screen a tenant

Open the landlord screening workflow and choose the report request path instead of Invite to apply. Check whether that renter already has a request.

Rentari Screen a tenant screen.
The available controls before changes are submitted.

Identify the renter and rental

Enter the intended recipient and the rental when requested. Review the package, payer and fee disclosed in that flow before submitting.

Track consent and completion

Read the invitation result and return to the same screening request. The renter completes the secure screening requirements; review the returned report when available.

Check the result

  • The report-only request is saved for the intended person, without implying a completed rental application.

FAQs

Does a report-only request create a completed application?

No. Screening and rental applications are separate. Keep any application information you collected elsewhere with the appropriate renter record.

Can I fill out the renter’s identity verification myself?

The renter must complete their own secure consent and identity steps. Do not collect their identity credentials in a message.
