Get help with an error in a screening report

Identify the disputed information and contact the source without ordering a duplicate report.

Have the applicant or request reference and the report source. Avoid sending full sensitive identity data in a general support message.

Identify the issue

Separate a misspelled application answer, an identity-verification problem and a disputed record in a completed report.

Check the report source

Read the available report and its provider details. Record the section and specific entry you believe is wrong.

Use the appropriate correction channel

For an application answer, use the correction request. For a provider report dispute, follow that provider’s dispute instructions or ask support how to reach the listed source.

Keep the review separate

Tell the leasing team that information is disputed and retain its reference. Landlords should review the underlying evidence and any required process rather than treating a disputed summary as a verified finding.

Check the result

  • The error is directed to the appropriate correction channel with a clear reference.

FAQs

Should I pay for a new report to fix an error?

First resolve the existing request and source data. Another order does not itself correct the disputed record.

Can Rentari rewrite a provider’s finding?

A provider’s record needs its appropriate correction process. Support can help identify the request and source; do not assume that an app status change changes the underlying record.
