Understand where your rental money goes

Review recorded payments, the current balance breakdown and upcoming items, then investigate details in Money.

Before you start

  • Use the renter account associated with the intended lease and let the figures finish loading.
  • Have the payment date or charge period ready if you are investigating a particular amount.

Review the four totals

Open Where your money goes and read Paid this year, On-time streak, Owed right now and Next payment.

Read the breakdowns

Review Month by month, What your balance is made of and What is coming.

Investigate a specific item

Use Back to Money or See the charges to inspect the actual balance items and Payment history.

Check the result

  • The four current tiles and the available breakdowns give context for recorded rental costs.
  • Specific payment or charge questions can be checked in Money rather than inferred from a summary chart.

FAQs

Why does Paid this year differ from the amount charged?

The page distinguishes recorded payments from charges and outstanding balances. Compare the dates and statuses in Money; a charge that has not been paid is not the same as collected payment activity.

Can I use What is coming as a complete future payment schedule?

Treat it as a preview of the records supplied to this page. Confirm future amounts and dates against the lease and actual charges in Money, especially after a lease change. The preview does not authorize or schedule a payment.
